The Delisserie Cookery School is set to open its doors from September 2009 headed by Karin Foreman. Our chef, Karin Foreman was born and raised in Israel to a Tunisian/Russian mother and a Bulgarian father. She lives in London with her South African husband and gorgeous two girls. Her background and international upbringing has provided her with a broad spectrum of culinary interests. She is a self-taught chef with a passion for cooking and a love of teaching.
Karin is well known in the community for her cooking and baking skills. Since becoming a mum, she has kept herself busy giving private cooking lessons as well as kids baking parties, making party cakes, cooking for parties and is also the consulting executive chef of the Delisserie, specializing in baking goods and Middle Eastern cooking. At the school, we are passionate about cooking and the love sharing it with each other, we desire to inspire confidence and to develop and enhance skills and different techniques so that anyone can cook great food at home, whether for families, friends or just for pure pleasure.
New courses are always being added as well as seasonal cookery and special interest courses, so please check our website (to be launched soon) regularly or join our mailing list.
Our class sizes are small, with a maximum of 8 people at any one time, so to ensure your place in these fantastic courses early booking is essential.
We also offer private cooking classes for individuals or small parties. This is ideal for dinner parties, hen or birthday parties, looking for something a little bit different and fun.
Aprons, and all necessary equipment will be provided by the school for use during the course and each student will be supplied with recipes and any relevant information in a file.
Gift vouchers are available for both open courses and private tuition. They can be booked for specific courses or left open allowing individuals the freedom to choose what and when they'd like to learn.
